Team Hair Base not only pride ourselves on achieving your hair goals and making sure you leave us feeling fabulous it’s also all about the experience.
Owner, Emma started The Hair Base 24 years ago with £1,800 and a passion for Hair and the community. The Hair Base was her baby, her firstborn, and it remains that way today.
Emma quickly planned a refurbishment of the salon to make her dreams a reality. The layout was carefully created around a central hair station, our hub a social area alongside quieter areas if you’d prefer not to talk, maybe have a coffee, charge your phone and catch up on emails.
Many friendships have been created at The Hair Base and not just between the team and clients. Several years ago, two elderly ladies got chatting while having their hair done at our central station. Fast forward several years and the two are now firm friends; they meet for coffee outside of the salon and always book their hair appointments together.
It means a lot to us that we get it right and that you don’t just love your hair, you love The Hair Base experience, and that’s why our customers keep coming back. From clients armed with Pinterest boards full of ideas to those who fancy a change and don’t know where to start. From short to long, curly and sleek and everything in between, we listen, and we’ve got you! Our team believe in in-depth consultations, so we listen, talk and work with you and your lifestyle to find the best options for everyone.
From the moment, you walk into The Hair Base, you will be welcomed by Rachel, our Front of House and all round lovely lady. Rachel will get you a drink, coffee, herbal tea or even a G&T yes, that’s right, we do alcoholic beverages too! She will then look after you, settle you in and introduce you to your stylist ready for your consultation.
