At The Hair Base we are continuously striving to grow and broaden our knowledge even more, which is why Emma (salon owner and director) has recently travelled down to London to attend an afro/texture cutting course. Within the hairdressing industry, this sector hasn’t been focused on enough, until now. This was an incredible learning experience for Emma with so much knowledge gained. Not only did Emma gain a lot of information regarding cutting this texture, Emma gained a lot of information about the history of afro hair. This was an eye opening experience for Emma with a lot of new techniques and information to share with the rest of The Hair Base team. With all of Emma’s experience and new knowledge gained, she is our salons curly haired specialist, covering all ranges of curly hair. But…watch this space, as Emma will soon be sharing her knowledge with the rest of the team to get more of the team involved in the world of curly hair.
